        Verdict

        EXCEL YOURSELF has failed to figure in better company of late including in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot though she did have Star Up In The Sky behind. James Tate's filly gets the nod to open her account in this grade just ahead of Clean Bow. The latter made a promising debut when third at Windsor and the winner has since been placed in Group 3 company but Showtime Girl was still beaten three lengths when runner-up at Beverley and she'll need to improve on that to figure. Cymeriad's best effort to date was a second over C&D in May and she looks best of the rest.
