Cookie Cutter can give weight away all round to the likes of Sahara Silk, Sweetest Revenge and Straffan. A good run by Ockums Razor in the opener will point to the chance of Cookie Cutter adding to her victory at Southwell four days ago. Karl Burke's four-year-old was sent off favourite that day and did not disappoint as she came through to beat her opponents decisively. She has to carry topweight here but is still well treated when you consider that she was once rated 70 when trained in Ireland. Sahara Silk has had just two outings since August and showed that she was getting fitter when staying on to finish runner-up in an amateurs' event over five furlongs here a fortnight ago. Although she goes better on the Southwell Fibresand, Derek Shaw's filly is on the short-list. Sweetest Revenge appears to be coming to hand judged on her latest third, also in amateur company here nine days ago, while Straffan made all in Banded company at Southwell at the start of the year, and although she is another that prefers the Fibresand as well, cannot be left out of calculations entirely. On latest evidence though, they all have it to do to stop Cookie Cutter from following up.
