Ed Dunlop's well-bred Love In The Mist has shown little sign of much ability so far and is passed over here in favour of Celadon, who gets the verdict over Turkish Delight. The last mentioned has filled fourth spot in all three starts so far and should again be thereabouts but Celadon sets a fair standard. Nick Littmoden's colt has shown steady improvement in each of his three outings to date over the minimum trip and, with more to come over the extra furlong he looks the one to be on. Rae Guest's Cornwallis takes the eye on breeding but the stable is not known for their success with first time out two-year-old runners, while Sable 'n Silk from in the in-from yard of Derek Haydn Jones needs to step up considerably on his debut effort to trouble the judge in a race that is taken to go to Celadon.
