Millville is fancied to have the class to cope with top weight in this tricky little contest in which Polish Power and the in-form Grande Caiman are also considered as dangerous. That said, Cold Turkey can never be ruled out in a race of this nature and, having rediscovered the winning thread last time out, he is one to seriously consider if the market speaks in his favour. Grande Caiman has won three on the bounce and will no doubt attract the interest of the betting ring. However, he is creeping up the weights, so may struggle to confirm the form with Polish Power on these revised terms. The last named goes well on the all weather and can make a fist of things if he is on song. But it is also worth bearing in mind that his best form has been at Lingfield and he needs to prove himself around these tight turns. The same can be said of Millville, who has also raced ostensibly at Lingfield when tried on the AW. Still he did finish a very close second on his only previous visit to Dunstall Park, so has a slightly stronger profile. Michael Jarvis' horse have been running notably well of late and his placement of Milville looks to be a good trial if he is to go on to contest the Winter Derby after this
