Verdict

Ascendant returned to action with a second over C&D with The Lock Master not far away and Musnad and Lemon Drop Red further behind. He has claims along with recent Lingfield winner Alazan whose 3lb rise is negated by an apprentice's claim. Private Equity is a winner on the Flat in France and makes his debut for a leading jumps yard today but the vote goes to NOBLE SILK given he's suffered a couple of narrow margin defeats at Lingfield recently and is just preferred to Brimstone Hill.
