Bid For Fame gets the confident vote in this amateurs' handicap with Pharaoh Prince and Explosive Fox put forward as the dangers. The selection finished 8th behind Prime Powered in a slightly better race than this at Lingfield when last seen out. He goes well here and gets on with today's pilot and he looks to have a leading chance off what looks a fair mark. The step-up in trip is also in his favour. Pharaoh Prince should give him the most to think about as he has been running consistently well and he should get maximum assistance from his amateur rider Simon Walker. However, this trip may stretch his stamina and for that reason we will pass him over today. Explosive Fox looks to be well treated on his return to the level after a spell over hurdles. He is another to consider as is Luxi River who is sure to have his supporters with the very able Nina Carberry in the plate. However, for the winner we are happy to return to the course and distance winner Bid For Fame.
