In depth

Verdict

Alex Dunn is responsible for the top two in the weights in this, including Friday's Lingfield winner French Mix, who has a penalty. But Simon Walker’s mounts in races like this are always worth a second look and RARE is no exception. Archie Watson’s filly is still awaiting a first success but she found only one too good over this trip at Lingfield 12 days ago and has been left on the same mark. Party Royal is only 1-20 on the all-weather but has placed around here and shouldn’t be far away while veteran Yasir is invariably on the premises at this level. Belabour won one of these under Becky Brisbourne at Newcastle last time so also goes on the short-list.
