This looks wide-open though Kaser’s earlier success here came over a shorter trip. Scofflaw won a claimer over course and distance last month while Storm Ahead has been in fine form here having won last month and placed subsequently. Snow Ocean landed a double with his recent victory at the track and Red Bond went close at Doncaster back in March. The latter shares ownership with Motawaafeq, who made a winning start for Mick Appleby over 7f here, and Gabrials Boy is not out of this either. But it could pay to stick with CLASSIC DESIGN as he won a decent maiden over course and distance last time and there should be more to come from Simon Crisford’s charge now handicapping.
