    In depth

    Verdict

Silver Mont, Diktatorship and Squirtle are a handful against the field in another wide-open affair and the vote is given to Diktatorship. The selection chased home Adage here last time out but he came up against a progressive rival that day and a reproduction of that effort may be good enough this afternoon. The slight reservation would be the trip as he has yet to race over this far, but if he gets home he should prove tough to beat. Silver Mont is an obvious danger as he chased home Orchard House last time out but that rival has since raced twice and been comprehensively beaten so the form looks far from watertight. Squirtle was a fair third behind Nimra last time out and is another with place claims but consistency is not her strong point. Comeintothespace's best form is over a mile and a half and on that basis he can be taken on. Lord Nellsson could improve for the fitting of first-time blinkers, but Diktatorship showed enough last time to make him the one to beat today.
