        Verdict

        Last month’s Lingfield winner Music Major failed to cope with a 7lb rise when only third at Kempton and it remains to be seen how Chelmsford winner Ashford Island copes with a 4lb rise in the weights. PACKING has had just the two outings in handicaps and, with further progress expected after a fourth at Lingfield, he may come out best. Atrayu only found one too good at Southwell last time while Gold Eliza and Red Rose Riot may finish closer now handicapping for the first time.
