In depth

Verdict

This looks to be a match-up between GREEN DYNASTY and Co Dependent and the narrow preference is for the first mentioned. The selection has shaped with promise on each of his three runs so far and he shapes as though this step-up in trip will play to his strengths. His trainer Mark Johnston looks to have a good opportunity for him to get his head in front and from a good draw he is put forward as the pick. Co Dependent is the obvious danger who ran better than the bare form would suggest in a handicap at Kempton last time. He was denied a clear run that day and if he can see out this longer trip then he can give our selection a race. Andy Haynes introduces a newcomer here in the form of Frightnight and the yard did have a winner at Lingfield on Tuesday so he could be one to note in the market. Hypnotic Gaze, Petrenko and Piccolo Express will need to improve on what htey have shown on the racecourse so far if they are to take a hand in the finish. This race should not take a great deal of winning and vote is given to Green Dynasty.
