Bella Pavlina, Yorker and Paradise Valley are all running well at present and look set to fight this out at the finish with Bella Pavlina given as the selection. The six-year-old could not be in better form and this mare has been first home in four of his last six starts, including in a claimer last time when defeating Theatre Tinka. Although he is stepped up in class here it does not look the best of classified stakes and he is taken to score. Yorker looks the main danger on his close second behind Warden Warren in a handicap at Wolverhampton on Monday. He has been knocking on the door for some time now but he does have a tendency to find at least one too good and he may have to once again settle for place money. Paradise Valley defeated Claptrap in a claimer on this track last time and with the drop in trip not posing any problems this gelding is capable of running a big race with Steve Drowne booked to take the ride. Of the rest, Sudden Flight would have chances on his best form but he has not shown that for some time, so we are happy to stick with Bella Pavlina as our selection.
