King Kevin went close to landing a hat-trick when second at Newcastle and had earlier beaten WINDSORLOT by only a neck over track and trip. The latter may well reverse running on today’s more favourable terms and gets the nod. Victoriously also missed out on a treble when well beaten at Chelmsford recently while Ingleby Angel is usually thereabouts without winning but finished behind third-placed Joys Delight here earlier and the latter can figure. Topmeup went close over a mile last time and is worth another try over this longer trip.
