Verdict
Cockley Beck was only beaten a neck on her hurdling debut at Ayr but this is a slightly better race. Schiaparannie wasn’t stopping when landing the odds over 2m here last time. Third Autumn Surprise was making her racecourse debut in third but Malcolm Jefferson’s mare can confirm the form, though lacks the scope of PETTICOAT TAILS. Warren Greatrex’ five-year-old was a decent sort in bumpers and surely didn’t give her true running when tailed off at Wincanton.
