    In depth

    Verdict

PSEUDONYM is given the vote to win this staying handicap while Elaala and the veteran Flame Creek are others who bring good recent form into the race. Second last time out at this venue, the eventual winner of that race Bank On Benny just seemed to slip the field as they raced out of the back straight and as a result the held-up Pseudonym could never get on terms. Given his hold-up style, he does need luck in running but in an open contest, he is one of many that make some appeal. Elaala and Flame Creek re-oppose on similar terms to last time out where only a head separated the two. Summer Lodge has been campaigned over a variety of trips of late while at bigger prices Squirtle could reward those seeking some value as the main feature of his running style is his ability to plug on when others have cried enough. Pseudonym is selected to win it for the Milton Harris stable.
