    Verdict

Blythe Spirit has been in good form on the all-weather recently but has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper as a result and a safer bet may be Secret Place who is taken to confirm recent Lingfield superiority over Peruvian Style. The selection was caught close home for second behind Buy On The Red at the Surrey venue last week, with Peruvian Style three-quarters of a length behind in fourth place and as that was his first outing since July he is entitled to improve for the run. Tony Newcombe complicates matters by saddling three runners with Mufreh preferred to Nimello and Middleton Grey among his trio, while Hurricane Coast looks the pick of David Floods two runners ahead of Tipo. Top weight Fruit Of Glory could do with some assistance from the handicapper and a bigger threat may come from Sylvester Kirk's Just Fly. With Paul Blockley's string in good from there may be more to come from Hit's Only Money but Secret Place holds solid claims and he gets the vote.
