Power Player looks the pick in this maiden; the list of dangers is headed by Cooperstown and Witchingham. The selection ran better than the bare form would suggest last time as he found trouble when a distant fourth behind Valrhona at Lingfield. He looks worth another chance today and he is sure to be popular with punters with Jamie Spencer doing the steering over this more suitable trip. Cooperstown was well beaten last time but this is a weaker race and he did run really well on his last try over this trip. Witchingham hails from a top yard but his recent form leaves a little to be desired and he can't be backed with any confidence. Dr Dream has been running consistently well and he has solid place claims, but a better bet looks to be Power Player who deserves another chance.
