        Verdict

        Oasis Davis, Gunner Fly and Kyllis make plenty of appeal in this maiden and the narrow preference is for Oasis Davis. The selection ran well for a long way last time but failed to get home over 6f at Pontefract. However, that is a stiff 6f, and he raced too keenly that day which was part of the problem. He looks the percentage call in an open affair. Conversely, Gunner Fly would probably be better over a longer trip than this as he was doing all his best work at the finish over this course and distance last time. Kyllis lost no caste in defeat here last time when second behind Tobar Siul Lady and Bryan Smart's filly can go well. Change Alley has a good draw and is another to consider, but in a trappy contest we will side with Oasis Davis as the one to beat.
