In depth

Verdict

HAKAM should be sharper for a return to action at Chelmsford where the mile trip appeared beyond him. Rated 80, Charlie Hills’ charge can open his account back over today’s 7f. Mickey Haller ran well for second at Chepstow when last in action and should be in the mix while Madame Butterfly was placed on her debut but was still beaten a long way when runner-up at Newcastle recently. Critical Speed could only manage a modest fourth on her introduction but better is expected here.
