Mark Johnston's CALL TO ARMS won with any amount in hand when landing a Lingfield maiden on his reappearance in February and he looks to be well treated for his handicap debut off a mark of 79 and he can overcome his high draw with the early speed that he normally shows so gets the vote ahead of Night Trade and Admin. Ralph Beckett's gelding showed progressive form as a juvenile and won well when taking his maiden at Lingfield when last seen in October so he has to be considered on his first run of the campaign having not been raised since winning that contest. James Given's Cape Kimberley seems a shade high in the weights, although he may have improved from two to three, while Richard Fahey's Newbury Street was very disappointing first time up this term and looks best watched. Julie Camacho's Solstice has only had two starts so far but needs to improve and of more interest may be Night Trade, who ran to a decent level of form as a two-year-old and has to be considered first time up as a three-year-old. There was plenty to like about the way that Call To Arms won at Lingfield though and he can win again.
