A dire affair in which Al Awaam is nominated in preference to Orchestration and Heathyardsblessing. Mark Brisbourne's representative was formerly trained by Ed Dunlop and it has taken some time for the new handler to iron out any training troubles and quirks that the horse has had. It is somewhat surprising that he is run over 6f again when the trainer has stated that he needs further but this contest is so modest, he may be able to nick this one. Orchestration would be favoured at the weights to reverse a recent meeting with our selection. On this occasion, he has an inexperienced claimer aboard and a worse draw so we shall seek to take him on. Heathyardsblessing is yet to win an all-weather race and seems fated to find one too good again. He will be running on at the death. Juwwi and Levelled have raced some 178 races between them. The pair are probably better over five furlongs than today's six. Not a contest that will live long in the memory and Al Awaam should take the beating.
