In depth

Verdict

Can Can Girl arrives on the back of a win at Newcastle while King Charles will be sharper for a recent comeback run and drops down a grade. But novice winner VICTORY STAR wasn’t beaten far at Kempton on his handicap bow and should go close with an apprentice’s allowance in his favour today. A Legacy finished behind the selection last time while Paddyplex steps up in trip and Mr Carbonator is best at Southwell.
