Glenridding is drawn high which won't make it easy to adopt his usual front-running tactics but he isn't badly treated, may still get to the front and should go well. Whispering Spirit may be able to get back on track on his return to this venue whilst it will be interesting to see if Prairie Tiger or the increasingly well handicapped Alpen Glen attract any support. However, it may not pay to look beyond the obvious here and preference is for MR MONEY MAKER ahead of Mazamorra. Marco Botti's filly hasn't been out since disappointing as favourite in a competitive Newbury handicap in July but it would be no surprise to see her bounce back to form. However, less has to be taken on trust with Mr Money Maker who made a winning debut for John Flint on his handicap bow at Bath and a 5lb rise for that success may have underestimated his superiority and he looks capable of following up at a track where he has already run well.
