Drifting Gold is taken to defy topweight, with Durova and Diminuto seen as the main dangers. Drifting Gold has posted some ultra-consistent efforts so far this term. However, the Clive Cox-trained filly was dropped 7lb before scoring back on Turf at Goodwood last time, and although not as well treated on the all weather, still looks fairly handicapped. She makes more appeal than Durova who has not been able to dominate as much as she would have liked of late, and it will be interesting to see how she fares on this first visit to Wolverhampton, with Seb Sanders booked to ride. Diminuto has saved her best efforts for Southwell's Fibresand surface, but looks the sort that can run into a place, while of the rest, Charlotte Grey is worth a small mention, but is hard to fancy for win purposes. Not so Drifting Gold who has every chance of following up.
