In depth

Verdict

MISS MESSENGER promises to improve for this extra distance having missed out by only a neck at Kempton on her debut. She gets the vote ahead of After Eight, who should also make a bold bid judged on a second over 1m2f at Lingfield earlier in the month. Kiss Kiss and Faithhopeandglory are other likely improvers while Mugader is a half-brother to a winner in France and is a newcomer to note.
