ALL YOU NEED and Many Welcomes both race under a penalty after winning here last week, and we prefer the claims of the former, while also respecting the chances of Imperial Djay. The selection has the dual advantage of being drawn in stall one and being bottom weight. A regular here, now running off his lowest ever mark he can be competitive at this level. He can look awkward sometimes, but the recently added cheekpieces have helped him and this seems to be his optimum trip. Reg Hollinshead has a good strike rate, particularly here and would carry our support. Many Welcomes came from off the pace to win over six furlongs here last week, and this trip is marginally shorter. Lightly raced, she looked good after a lengthy lay-off, with a pleasing attitude, and would seem to be more than capable of landing more at this sort of level. Imperial Djay is nought from 15, but seems to be improving. Handily drawn, this could be his day, although he may find he's got too much to carry. Blakeshall Quest is also a course and distance winner, but that was five years ago. His best form seems to come in the deeper track at Southwell. So the pick for us is All You Need.
