A hands and heels' apprentice handicap gets proceedings underway and from a shortlist of LYTHAM, Noah Jameel and Tecktal we will side with Lytham as the pick. The selection is a real course specialist and he has won his last two races here in good style. He showed a gutsy attitude to beat Noah Jameel last time out and from a good draw he can complete a hat-trick of successes. Noah Jameel could be a big danger as he will be suited by this extra furlong and he is a 1lb better off with our selection today from their meeting last time out. However, Lytham is having only his third start for his current yard and they seem to be finding plenty of improvement with him. Tecktal has the best of the draw but it was a moderate handicap she won last time and her future may well be over hurdles. King Of The Beers is a capable performer on his day and he is back on a very fair mark. The step-up in trip should suit and he can go well at a price. However, for the winner we will stick with Lytham.
