Verdict

ALEXEJ made a winning start over today’s trip at Leicester before placing over a mile at Newcastle when carrying a penalty. He gets another chance back over 7f for this given the others with racecourse experience all went backwards on their latest starts including Faadiyah, a runner-up at Chester on her earlier debut. But a couple of the newcomers may prove bigger threats as Good Humor is a full-brother to a Group 3 winner and the Godolphin filly Silent Escape is related to a couple of winners.
