The latter has since placed at Chelmsford but a chance is taken on stablemate SOCIETY STAR. Bob Cowell’s filly returned to action with a promising handicap debut at Lingfield when showing up for a long way before fading in the closing stages. Placed behind subsequent winning handicappers in novice company here last year, she could make a bold bid in this. Scale Force had been thereabouts before struggling at Ripon, though an earlier success on the all-weather came at Southwell.
