Red Mountain ran the best race of his career at Southwell last time and he can land this weak affair from Denise Best and Regency Red. The selection contested a similar event to this and was only beaten 3 and a half lengths by Vanbrugh, with some consistent types at this level behind. It appears that this event is even weaker than that poor contest and as he seems to be on the upgrade, he should be able to collect first prize. Regency Red took advantage of decent mark to finish second in a selling handicap last time and should be fighting for at least a place against today's company. Denise Best returns to the flat following a spell over hurdles. On her best form she would be capable of getting into the action here. Fairmorning showed signs of a form revival at Southwell last time and may do best of the others, however Red Mountain appears to be going the right way and gets the vote.
