Princess Cocoa, Lobengula and Abbondanza make the shortlist here and Princess Cocoa is taken to resume winning ways here. Abbondanza is chasing a course and distance hat trick and has only gone up the handicap three pounds for his latest hard fought success. He is gradually climbing the handicap though and he is opposed. Lobengula fills a similar profile in that he has won his last two starts over the course and distance in emphatic style, but he has risen up the ratings even more, now finding himself 16 pounds higher than when he began his winning run. Princess Cocoa doubled her winning tally when scoring over the course and distance two outings ago, and her form write up in her subsequent Doncaster defeat where she finished an eventual fifth, didnt do her justice. She travelled well and came through to just about hit the front at the distance before fading in the final furlong. She is running over a furlong less here, is dropped three pounds in the handicap, and Princess Cocoa can send her supporters to bed with a warm glow.
