Most of these have looked in the handicapper's grip of late though SOUL SEARCHER (NAP) was beaten only a length over 1m6f here last time. The course and distance winner needs to reverse earlier running at Salisbury with Frenzified but is weighted to do so. Devon Drum has been in good form over further but is upped in class along with Scurr Mist while Black Shadow has been raised 4lb after a couple of placed efforts. Cottesloe is 9lb higher than his win at Lingfield in August and Trimoulet's earlier win over track and trip came off a 7lb lower mark.
