Russian Symphony could be of interest on his seasonal reappearance but Charlie Egerton's gelding faces no easy task from stall 13 of the 13 runners and much better berthed is PERLACHY, who gets the vote over Grimes Faith. Kevin Ryan's gelding was slightly disappointing at Kempton last time but earlier form at Southwell is solid and, if he can reproduce that on the Polytrack here, he has every chance. Almaty Express ran better at Great Leighs last time and has slipped to a fair mark, while Now You See Me has every chance at the weights but is another with a poor draw to overcome. Tyrannosaurus Rex has run better of late and has to be considered from stall four but none of these are as well berthed as stable companion Perlachy. Derek Shaw's gelding comes into this in good heart following his win at Kempton over six furlongs last time, should not be inconvenienced by the drop to the minimum trip and off just a 3lb higher mark he looks the one to beat from stall one.
