Ruth Carr has her string in good form and NINTH HOUSE could be worth chancing here; the list of dangers is headed by Avoca Dancer and Young Gladiator. The selection has got course and distance winning form and he is quickly turned out after a below-par run at Musselburgh on Friday. However, he had been an eyecatcher previously at Beverley and he could be worth another chance. Avoca Dancer is an obvious danger as Karen George's 6-year-old mare won well at Lingfield last time out. However, she had the best of the draw that day and she had the race run to suit. Young Gladiator won well at Newcastle last time when the first time blinkers seemed to work the oracle, and if they do the job again then he could go well. Dickie Le Davoir has gone well here in the past and he could prove best of the others, but the vote goes the way of Ninth House.
