A fascinating three-year-old handicap where narrow preference is for SRDA ahead of Tuscan King, Manxman and Crunched. Clive Brittain's filly won in good fashion on debut at Lingfield, having to show guts to get on top late on. She is bred to be better than this mark of 71 (dam half-sister to a 1000 Guineas winner) and should run a big race over a trip she should get. Crunched was a winner here when last seen and he needs a market check on this return to action off what could be a lenient mark, Manxman is interesting on this handicap debut, whilst Bubbly Braveheart has had a fine year and is better than his last race would suggest. Tuscan King's recent improvement has come in lesser grade and this is tougher off a new mark of 68, whilst Kathindi beat Bubbly Braveheart last time but then lost the race in the stewards room. Royal Turbo is edging down the handicap but is yet to suggest that he is a winner waiting to happen, whilst Kingsdine needs a market check on this first foray into a handicap after a break. An open race, but the nod is given to Srda.
