    Verdict

David Evans, who won this last year has two runners this time around. Blackmoll, a half-sister to a couple of juvenile winners, is quite a late foal and may find one or two of these just that bit more forward, while Merlins Pride is also a late May foal. John Egan takes the ride on the latter and she is presumably the number one. Alan Berry's Fortunately was a cheap foal and doesn't appeal much, but La Puce, who is from the same family as the smart Priena could well make them all go. A chance is taken with Lady Midnight, who is a half-sister to a juvenile winner and is from a stable that turned out the winner of a seller at Doncaster yesterday.
