    Verdict

Tonnante looks a progressive type and he can land this event with Doctor Scott and Champagne Shadow the most likely to chase him home. Sir Mark Prescott is a master at upping horses in trip and finding bundles of improvement and this filly is a case in point. She was good value for her winning margin at Musselburgh last time and she looks like one to stay on the right side of. Doctor Scott ran respectably at Lingfield last time on his first try on the polytrack. He is not the most consistent and he is probably better over further, but he is respected nonetheless. Champagne Shadow ran a blinder behind Bold Adventure here last time, and a reproduction of that effort would make him competitive today. Fretwork ran respectably last time and could be worth another try over this trip, but Tonnante looks to be a filly on the upgrade and she can win again.
