        Verdict

        Shamshon won over 6f here last time though has done most of his winning over today’s minimum trip. But this looks tougher than his latest success while Tropics ran below par on his latest start and was well beaten by DOCTOR SARDONICUS (NAP) over course and distance in December. The latter also beat Foxy Forever and Mokaatil on that occasion and another bold bid is expected on his return. Orvar ended last year with a victory at Beverley though failed to figure in a couple of outings at Meydan last month while Lancelot Du Lac is at home in this grade but best over 6f.
