Freda's Choice comes here in search of a hat-trick and she gets the vote ahead of Sahara Prince, Picadour and Tour d'Amour. The selection has been raised just one pound for her latest win eleven days ago, and that was a brave effort showing resolution when tackled close home. She evidently gets on well with jockey Duran Fentiman, who is riding well at present so the partnership could team up to good effect once again. Sahara Prince did all his best work late on when finishing a neck second last time out, so it can be assumed that he will be thereabouts over this slightly longer trip. However this looks a slightly stronger race so he is passed over, as is Picador who flopped last time out off this mark. Before then he had looked progressive but perhaps this is as good as he is, so whilst he could be good enough to win if back on song, he cannot be truly fancied today. Tour d'Amour is consistent, but struggles to get his head in front, even if he is slowly slipping down the weights. Dual-performer Golden Square can reach the frame off a mark just 3lbs above his last winning one, however for the winner we shall stick with Patrick Morris's in-form filly, Freda's Choice.
