Ancient Times and Carter try cheek-pieces for the first time and need to improve markedly for their application to score off their respective marks. Kyle Of Bute is a consistent gelding in this grade and as his two previous all-weather tries came over sprint trips in 2008 he could yet prove up to winning on the surface, but he was held off this mark last time and is opposable. We'll take him on with the out-of-sorts HINDU KUSH in the hope that dropping to this grade for the first time enables him to recapture his best form. It's only a year or so ago that this horse was competing in Listed races for previous connections and he's not been with Robert Mills for long. Babilu has been going well under both codes but may find things happening too quickly now dropped in trip, as may Moscow Oznick who will need an end-to-end pace to chase.
