JOSIAH BARTLETT is on a handy enough mark at present and can take this from Villaruz and Private Passion. The Paul McEntee-trained colt was a winner over this trip at Lingfield three starts ago and has also run well over course and distance here from this mark of 60. Over this trip an outside draw should not be a problem as he tends to be dropped in anyway, and we will side with him. Villaruz will have his supporters after running second here over 6f last time. The step up in trip might help this lightly-raced gelding find more improvement and he can go close. Private Passion is 5lbs better off with the selection for being beaten a little under three lengths by him when they last met and he has a chance of bridging that gap, though he looks best over shorter at present. It would be no surprise to see Praise Of Folly show more now pitched into this company for the first time from a very reasonable mark, while Order Order represents a yard who's only recent runner went in. An intriguing contest where Josiah Bartlett is preferred.
