    Verdict

OPUS DEI sets the standard but there must be slight concerns about supporting him at a short price given that he's twice missed out on a maiden success by narrow margins and been tried in blinkers and cheekpieces. He also makes his debut for a new yard on the back of a break but is the obvious choice to pick up a modest contest. Drumcliffe Dancer makes the journey from Ireland and has place claims on the figures but Luisa Tetrazzini makes more appeal in the bid for minor honours having posted some consistent performances around here of late. Ironwud wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning debut so needs a market check whilst it may well be worth forgiving Tsar Bomba a poor run on heavy ground and his earlier efforts put him in the picture.
