      Verdict

      ASTRODOME is a confident pick in the finale with Bushy Dell and Hada Men likely to pose most threat. Sir Mark Prescott's ability to bring along his handicappers slowly but progressively appears to have yielded fruit once again with Astrodome. Granted, the time he recorded at Hamilton did not trouble the course record but he was doing all that was required of him, and provided that he acts on the surface tonight, he rates a tough act to beat. Bushy Dell benefitted for a positive ride at Kempton in August. The handicapper has had plenty of opportunity to check his sums. Hada Men has clearly been brought along steadily. It is nevertheless of some concern that it is almost a year since we last saw him at the track so there has to be a question mark about him in the interim. Well Informed was second in a seller but she looks harshly treated off her current handicap mark. The Last Bottle has gone backwards at a rate of knots. Into The Light would need to build significantly on a recent outing at Pontefract whilst Next Of Kin makes a debut for new trainer having left Alan Swinbank. Astrodome looks the star act in an ordinary affair.
