    In depth

    Verdict

SIBAYA finished last of four behind Nellie Bly on her debut at Lingfield where she looked in need of the experience and missed the break. She wasn't beaten far once getting the hang of things and with progress guaranteed looks the one to beat. Evan Elpus attracted some support on his debut over track and trip in December but though showing good speed he dropped away quickly at the furlong pole. Common Cents showed some ability on Turf at the beginning of last season while Secret Advice appeared to find 7f too far here last time after a better initial run over the course and distance.
