        Verdict

        Anif made all over a mile at Lingfield last month to record his first win in a handicap despite finishing lame. He’ll go well again if fully recovered but BLESSED TO EMPRESS was beaten only a nose over today’s trip at Chelmsford on her latest start and it could be her turn again today having won off a higher mark last year. Aljunood also has a shout on a recent third over track and trip while One More Chance has been threatening at Southwell before refusing to race here last time. Muatadel and Newstead Abbey are regularly placed at this level and are both back on winning marks.
