Xaloc Bay can win the seller, with Star Lad, Jan Brueghel and Lucayan Monarch not out of it by any means. Xaloc Bay was beaten half a length by Lucayan Monarch at Southwell a fortnight ago, with Jan Brueghel back in third and now meets his conqueror on five-pound better terms. That should be enough for him to turn the tables, although Paul Blockley has been a trainer to follow this year and Lucayan Monarch, who has contributed to the stable¿s haul with two victories, is sure to make his presence felt again after adding to his tally last week. Jan Brueghel was actually sent off favourite when coming off third best behind the pair mentioned earlier but will have to improve again to score. Star Lad was gelded after opening his account in November 2002, and finally added to that when landing a similar race to this over the course and distance 11 days ago. However, he would have only been second had Senor Miro not broken a leg, and will have to run right up to his best to prevail. We take Xaloc Bay to make his third start for Brian Baugh a winning one.
