Verdict

Last year’s winner TONE THE BARONE looks set up for a repeat with a recent comeback run at Newcastle under his belt and Stuart Williams’ yard in top form. Venturous also won this in 2020 though hasn’t raced since August while a couple of these scored at Southwell recently. Alligator Alley returned a winning favourite despite failing to get a clear run while Bedford Flyer had Lord Riddiford back in third and is also preferred to Strong Power.
