A telescope would come in handy to spot the form required to win this, such is its scarcity, and in a race in which bets are best kept to a minimum, a tentative TEAMtalk vote goes to City Reach who at least has managed to get his head in front of late. That victory came at Brighton where he took advantage of a mark nearly a stone lower than his all-weather rating. A regular on sand, he has won twice over six furlongs at Wolverhampton but has been tried over a variety of distances since then. The mile trip here is not a problem, and with only Desert Royal showing any other worthwhile form, City Reach can win a weak race.
