      Verdict

      A further 7lb rise for winning at Lingfield brought an end to the winning run of Spring Romance when only fourth at Newmarket. He’s still not out of this dropping back down in class but SUPER FLORENCE is preferred. She carries 6lb extra after last week’s seven-length romp at Catterick but that’s unlikely to anchor Iain Jardine’s filly and she can go in again. Laubali was placed at Redcar in between a couple of modest efforts and Scenic River is preferred to Denham of the remaining pair.
