Verdict

Birdy Boy is up 8lb for his recent course win and Zero Game makes more appeal as she landed an apprentices race here on her return and escapes a penalty. Mizyen has a 5lb rise to contend with having won with a bit in hand over track and trip last time and Excellent Puck has shown enough in maidens to suggest he can get involved on his handicap debut. MINIMEE has failed to threaten in a couple of starts on Turf despite finishing second at Nottingham last week. He'd beaten higher rated horses in a claimer at this track before that and can return to winning ways in this.
